Predictable Payments, No Surprises

Overview

What is a Fixed-Rate Home Equity Loan?

A Fixed-Rate Home Equity Loan gives you a one-time disbursement based on your home’s equity with a locked-in interest rate and predictable monthly payments for the entire term of the loan.

You can borrow up to 80% of your home’s equity, minus the balance of your first mortgage. This option is perfect for members who prefer stability and want to fund a single large project or expense with no surprises.

For example: If your home is valued at $200,000 and your remaining mortgage balance is $100,000, you may qualify to borrow up to $60,000.

($200,000 x 80% = $160,000 – $100,000 = $60,000)

APR Note:
*APR = Annual Percentage Rate. Rates shown are “as low as” and may vary based on credit, term, and home value. Minimum loan amount is $5,000 with a maximum LTV of 80%. Current rate is Prime + 0.75%. Your rate may differ. Floor rate is 4.00%. See 802 Credit Union for full details. NMLS# 409405.

Testimonials

Hear From Our Members!

Real stories from real people who’ve found their financial home.

I recently moved to Vermont and was looking for a new financial institution. Several people recommended 802 Credit Union. Kim helped me set up my accounts, my direct deposit and got me started with online banking. She showed me how to use Bill Pay, which I never used at my previous bank. What a huge convenience! I highly recommend 802 Credit Union and all the staff at the Windsor branch.
