802CU & WRCU: Moving Forward Together

We’re excited to announce the merger between 802 Credit Union and White River Credit Union. This partnership represents a meaningful opportunity for both credit unions to grow stronger together, while continuing to deliver the personalized service and local commitment you rely on.

We’ll be updating this page regularly with everything you need to know.

Updated: October 21, 2025 We are pleased to share that the merger between White River Credit Union (WRCU) and 802 Credit Union has been officially approved by both memberships, with 98% approval from 802CU members. This strong support reflects the confidence our members have in this partnership and in the long-term future of our combined credit union.

Website Redirect (Mid-November 2025) Beginning in mid-November, the White River Credit Union website www.whiterivercu.com will redirect to www.802cu.com. WRCU members will continue to access online banking using their current login credentials.

System Integration (2026) In 2026, WRCU member accounts will be fully integrated into the 802CU system. We will provide advance notice and detailed guidance before any changes take place.

As of November 1, WRCU members officially become members of 802 Credit Union. With this partnership comes a variety of benefits, while keeping all of the local service you know and trust.
